Move an existing world/server to GGNodes

Bring your world, mods and configs from another host (or your own PC) to GGNodes.

·Download your files from the old host

  1. 1On your previous provider or local machine, back up the world folder, mods and configs.
  2. 2Most games keep saves in a dedicated folder (world/, saves/, DedicatedServer/…).
  3. 3Compress them into a .zip if they're large.

·Deploy your GGNodes server first

  1. 1Rent the matching game + plan on ggnodes.com and let it install a fresh copy.
  2. 2Start it once so it generates the expected folder structure.

·Upload & replace

  1. 1Open the control panel → Files and upload your archive.
  2. 2Replace the matching folders with your existing world/mods/configs.
  3. 3Restart the server. Your old world is now live on GGNodes — same address to friends, new home.
